The yacht will sail along the coast to El Arco, the iconic rock arch formation where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez. This is a great spot to take photos and potentially, if we're lucky, spot dolphins or a humpback whale.
After visiting El Arco, the yacht will anchor in a swimming/snorkeling area for about an hour and a half. The water temperature in the Sea of Cortez is typically a pleasant 75 - 80°. We'll have lots of fun activities including:
Snorkeling
Stand-Up Paddleboarding
Sunbathing on a giant party float
Sunbathing on the yacht deck
Mexican beers, margaritas and soft drinks
Light appetizers including freshly made guacamole, quesadillas, homemade tortilla chips and salsa
What to bring:
Swimsuit if you plan to swim or sunbathe
Sunglasses & a hat
Sunscreen
The yacht provides towels and snorkeling equipment. There is an outdoor shower so you can rinse off after swimming.
Our videographers Jimmy and Tai will be joining us on the yacht to capture some fun video and drone footage.
If you are staying at Cabo Azul or Zadún, we have roundtrip shuttles taking you from the hotel to the marina and back to the hotel. The Zadún shuttle departs at 1:45 PM, the Cabo Azul shuttle departs at 2:00 PM. Please meet in the hotel lobby at least 10 minutes before the shuttle departure time so you don't miss the shuttle!
If you are arranging your own transportation to the marina, please plan to arrive at the dock by 2:30 PM as the yacht will depart at 2:45 PM sharp. Meet at Dock N in front of Agua Salada Restaurant.
Cabo San Lucas Marina, Dock N, location N-5: Directions
After the yacht excursion on Saturday, the rest of the evening is up to you! Cabo has so much to offer, from romantic restaurants overlooking the ocean to vibrant multi-level dance clubs that go late into the night.
Below are some options and ideas for Saturday evening. We recommend making restaurant reservations at least three weeks in advance as popular restaurants tend to fill up quickly on a Saturday night.
The yacht returns to the Cabo San Lucas Marina at about 5:30 PM on Saturday:
Option 1 - take the return shuttle to Cabo Azul (arrive by 6:15 PM) and Zadún (arrive by 6:30 PM) and have dinner in San Jose del Cabo. We've listed some of our favorite places on the Let's Cabo page.
Option 2 - stay in Cabo San Lucas for dinner (and drinks & nightclubs if you have the energy!) and take an Uber or taxi back to your hotel at the end of the evening

Children are welcome to attend the Friday Welcome Party and Saturday Yacht Excursion. Please be sure to mention if you are bringing a child in your RSVP.
Zadún and Cabo Azul offer in-room babysitting services with highly trained, Red Cross-certified caregivers. If you would like to arrange a introductory call with a babysitter prior to traveling, our wedding planners recommend Cabo Babysitters.
We kindly request that guests completely turn off and put away their phones during the wedding ceremony to be present with us. We have a fantastic photographer and videographer team and we'll be sure to share the pics and videos post-wedding.
Of course, we'd love that! We just ask that you please wait to post photos of the bride and groom until after we've had a chance to post on our own social channels (we'll try to do it ASAP on Monday). Thank you!
